Dear Fellow Travelers:
My lifelong commitment to travel and international development work has taken me to more than 50 countries. I’ve lived on five continents and have spent my life searching out tiny villages, exploring wilderness areas, and discovering local hangouts. I always knew I wanted to find a way to share my experiences in travel with others.
That’s why I started Global Sojourns: to help you glimpse lands and peoples as only a “local” can. To connect you with places and cultures in ways that traditional tourism doesn’t allow. And to help you experience foreign lands in an authentic, responsible, and intimate way.
If you want to get off the beaten path and explore new horizons — connecting in a mutually respectful way with people, places, and traditions — Global Sojourns is for you.
We are committed to responsible tourism, and we carefully design your itinerary to respect the environment and local people and cultures. You can learn much more about what we do and what you can do to practice responsible tourism, as well as specific ways of giving back and helping the people and places you visit. To get inspired, check out our slideshow on responsible tourism.
Together, we can make traveling an enriching experience for us — and for the people and lands we visit. I can’t wait to talk with you about your next trip!
Yours in globetrotting,
